India’s First Electric Sports Bike launched by Bangalore Startup | Emflux Motors | AutoExpo 2018

Things are getting busier every second at the 2018 AutoExpo.  There is new electric concept motorcycle launched called the one or just ‘one’. It is coming from a Bangalore based start-up called Emflux and here is what you need to know:

Alright, when you look at electric mobility you are basically looking at 3 things. The range, The charge time and The battery time. Let’s start off in the same order. Firstly, we have the range, now Emflux say you can expect at least about 200 km in a single charge when you are in the city and about 150 km when you are out on the highway. Secondly, we have got the charge time. Now you can charge it from 0-80% in just about 36 minutes and that is really-really fast. Lastly, we head off with the battery time, now Emflux is using the lithium ion battery pack which by the way is the heaviest thing you will see on this motorcycle.

Sporty Specifications:

Now Emflux is also calling this their sports bike so needless to say you will have some equipment offered in it. In the stock setup you will have the standard folks on the front and a monoshock at the rear. As far as breaking goes you have a 300mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. Both of them are coupled with Brembo Callipers and also ABS is coming in as standard. Right now in stock u have cast allow wheels which can be upgraded to forged alloys to make the one even lighter. You will also have Pirelli tyres as standard. The claimed top speed by the company is 200 kmph and 0-100 in just 3 seconds. The electric motor inside produces 84 Nm of Torque. This bike will come in with a full weight of 169 Kilograms.

The Smart Display:

Now let’s have a look at display. You have this fully digital screen which is connected to two cameras, one on the front and other on the rear. You also have Bluetooth, Wifi and 4G connectivity. Other features are Navigation, Real time status update, Trip meter, Odometer, Speedometer. The interesting part of this is that the plate will be IP67 certified. This will be launched somewhere in 2019 and will be priced at approximately 6 Lakhs.
